growing up with access to web 2.0 i always admired the scene/emo culture on myspace, as i started watching early youtube i began watching venusangelic which led to developing an interest in japanese media and jfashion! i have been wearing alternative fashion since around 2012, moving up from primary (elementary) school to a secondary (middle) school which did not have a strict uniform policy meant i could be more experimental with my personal style especially my clothes and makeup. i joined tumblr and pinterest around this age and developed a particular interest in pastel goth culture, i was also a big fan of melanie martinez at the time which sparked an interest in Angelic Pretty and the sweet lolita boom of the early 2010s - however i wasn't able to actually afford it until around 2020 when i turned 18. i also started gravitating towards gyaru around this time, however i am no longer able to fit in ma*rs dresses :P
